  1. Manker is the good stuff 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Jan 2017

Well, i found Manker by accident but it seemed just so good that i had to try it.
Lots of good review made my mind. I drive sled dogs for living and this is the lamp that i choose for it now. I would say the NW tint is amazing..so easy for eyes when you are dealing with snow. The powerful spot gets through the falling snow so you can drive even in kind of a blizzard. I love the interface..a bit complecs first but the programming makes it so versatile. I mean Manker must make it as a standard and absolutelly keep the constant turbo mode.
Actually they should make a tail cap that allows you to hook up a battery pack to the lamp - like the gun lights have. Would be so simple..same tailcap but instead of the spring for negative you should have a stick that goes all the way to positive.Voila..you have the option to use a headbrand and have the powerful batteries in your pocket.

In short..the best buy i have made conserning lamps.

  2. Best Pocket Thrower! 5 Star Review

I purchased this after really liking the Manker E11. This light is in every way worth the extra money. The combination of the larger head, XP-L HI, and programable 'Pro Mode' really make this the perfect light. You can set the lowest mode to be useful for up-close tasks, and a quick-click gives you instant access.

The 'Turbo' on this light is comparable to a full size tactical light, and throws further than most of them. It is a pocket rocket with a regular AA, and with a 14500 rechargeable it's a true powerhouse. I've got plenty of AA/14500 lights and would take this over any of them.

FYI the 14500 I've been using is a Nitecore IMR 650mAh.

  3. mini spotlight 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Dec 2016

Okay, I have to say that I was not impressed with this light when I first turned it on indoors -- small well-demarcated central focus with large periphery. When I took it outdoors, though, I started laughing when I saw how far the beam lit things up. Unbelievable for this size (AA NiMH, Eneloop)! I can't wait to try it with a Li-ion IMR (unprotected). So, although not my first choice for close-up, this model is a great little spotlight. The LED is not a Nichia with all its qualities, but perfectly suited for mid/far outdoor use. Quality is excellent, and operation is a cinch. I love this company -- keep it up!

  4. A pocket AA battery throwing light 5 Star Review

I've been following the manker t01 for a while now after numerous favorable reviews came out in candlepowerforum. The moment I saw a neutral white tint option, I had to purchase this. Testing it out against my zebralight sc5, I can say that I am more pleased with its neutral tint than my zebralight. Because of the design of the light, it is best suited for long range application. You risk being tunnel visioned if you use it indoors or at close proximity due to its focused beam. Machining and anodization is perfect, with a handsome look to the design. User interface is different from the norm, making it longer for anyone to get used to, but it's still reasonable enough with shortcuts and mode memory. I highly recommend this flashlight to anyone looking for a powerful aa flashlight. If I had to pick an issue, it would be the 14500 battery compatibility. It cannot take 14500 li-ion batteries that are longer than a typical aa battery. With my orbtronic 840mah protected cell, I cannot close the tailcap enough to make a complete connection, which is a bummer since I'd like to achieve higher lumens than from the typical aa battery.
